About Us
Since April 2023, we have been building the non-profit organization momentum to promote pluralistic debates. Especially in times of growing populism and fake news, we are convinced that critical and inclusive reporting on current issues is needed for a healthy democracy. Our team is therefore motivated to support the participation of the most diverse democratic actors possible in public discourse.
Carla (sometimes) studied politics and economics in Münster and (mainly) organized climate strikes. After dozens of press releases and strategy meetings, Carla wants to strengthen sustainable politics together with the momentum team.
Tatjana studied human ecology in Lund. Together with the Zetkin Collective, she researches the links between eco-fascism and fossil capitalism and is an associate of the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung's Socio-Ecological Transformation research group. However, she now only does this in the evenings - during the day, she works with momentum to make progressive voices heard.

We are 100% foundation-funded and are supported by the European Climate Foundation. Our topics, editorial decisions and the selection of our experts are independent of our funders. We also have no financial relationship with the experts and speakers we provide.
